Finally! It took me ages to get a low green (47) and about the same amount of guesses to get another (79). Was able to connect them fairly quickly and then jump up the high greens - although still a lot of guesses before I got the target word.
I got semantle in 13 today so this was over 100 guesses more!

I am really struggling with this one. Ridiculous as I'm close to a hundred guesses, of which more than half are green. I've got most of the top numbers between 985-999 (missing 996), but I can't crack it. Whyyy...

OMG - or should that be OMD - I have actually got to 999 in the French version but only by looking up the translation of a word - still no idea what 1000 is though. Also the French version seems to ne connait pas a lot of quite obvious words, which I am sure I am spelling right and don't have accents.

I give up (stuck at 994) can someone just PM me the answer so I don't lose my mind?!?
