Cemantle keeps giving me many this is not a word notifications, when it's a perfectly normal word. Is it because it was adapted from the French version?

Is it restricted to specific parts of speech? From the info 'You're looking for a singular noun, adjective, unconjugated verb or adverb.'

Despite clues I. Still not getting it. Can anyone help at all? Please?

@Ricardothesnowman a word usually found after 757 should get you into the 990s then use the clues above to get you there.

Tried so hard to get it without a clue today but had to come here after trying every word I could think of.

I got 995 in 13 guesses but it took a few more goes to get 1000.
