Got it in 58 today - certainly an improvement anyway! Lots of cold guesses to start off but once I found a green it went pretty quickly.

Driving me nuts. Failed yesterday, felt like I was homing in on something with scores in the 900s but actually the answer was only tangentially related to my closest answers.

Today I got a 932 on guess 5, but it's been dozens of downhill guesses from there.

Don't think I have the right mindset/approach for this game yet.

The French version seems a lot more popular - 7426 people have found the French word compared to 175 with the English.

I'm doing Wordle, Semantle, Cemantle and Redactle. I'm not about to try and do any of them in French!

Looking at the full list of words, I definitely didn't approach it in the main direction you are supposed to. I got started with 479, got to 862 and 887 and was thinking about a different context entirely.

Dadalus I can sort of see how 932 is related. I don't think it's going to help you very much but you should be able to get quite a few that are closer based on that one.

Does anyone look at the top thousand words after solving it. I don't think I.am.giving too much away when I say four of the words in today's list are castrations,leopardess, seismologically, and greatcoats.Looking at the answer I.just think WTF.

I always do this. There are always words I've never even heard of and words that I cannot see any possible link. If your first green word is one of these you're off on a wild goose chase.

Why are some cold words scored higher than others that are green?

I'm trying to finesse my tactics for this and Redactle.

what sort of words do you use to start out on this? I just type random shit in and I don't think it's the best way.
