Favourite smells

As i lie here revelling in the scent of the aloe vera I've lathered myself in, I wonder...what are your favourite smells?

Vanilla

Not to wash in, but a favourite in terms of evocative is that smell of tomato leaves/plants

Johnson's Baby Powder

Freshly cut grass
The sea shore
Grapefruit, I just got a grapefruit scented shampoo, smells good enough to eat.
Roses

Rain on hot tarmac.
Lime blossom on a hot summer evening.
Roasting coffee.

Freesias.
Freshly cut grass.
Puppies.

My toddlers hair when it's freshly washed.
Washing that's been dried outside.
Fresh, clean smells.

Rain on concrete. Eucalyptus. Damp.

The smell of my horses muzzle.....divine.

Lavender, the smell of rain, petrol (usually), fresh cut grass, vanilla, apple cinnamon too many to name.

Outdoor pools. That smell of sunscreen mixed with inflatables.
Blown out candles
Baby animals.
Lavender
Carpet shops

Shoe polish and puppy belly.

Oh and B&Q.

Crabtree & Evelyn Christmas room sprays, gutted they've been discontinued, nothing comes close.

Fresh air on washing that’s been on the line outside all day, and newly washing bedding! I can still also recall that smell of brand new newborn baby

The botanical candle company do a greenhouse candle which is that exact scent!

They're one of my fave companies, I have a candle from them called late summer which made me cry I got it after my horse died, and it's the scent of summer rides where the grass is all dry and crispy and it's been burning hot all day

The sunshine.
It definitely has a smell.

My dogs biscuity smell.

My son and husbands skin

Ooh yes, my cat when she comes inside on a Winter's night, her fur is cold and it smells of bonfires!

Lemon - nothing nicer than cutting into a lemon or grating lemon zest. Lime too.

The air in tropical countries.

Geranium leaves.

Woodsmoke
Dug soil
Line dried bed linen
Cut grass

Ground coffee. Best of all is fresh, but I still stick my nose into the vac-pac every time I open a new bag of grounds.

Wild honeysuckle.
