As i lie here revelling in the scent of the aloe vera I've lathered myself in, I wonder...what are your favourite smells?

@Thursa
Grapefruit, I just got a grapefruit scented shampoo, smells good enough to eat.

I bit into a bar of soap once (as a child) because it smelt so nice, and it tasted of soap... Sad

The smell of Greece, the way the air smells of the hot baked mineral earth.

Wallflowers, truly the scent of summer together with cut grass. And tomato leaves/stems.

We used to stay with an aunt as children who had a porch with pelargoniums (geraniums) in. The smell of the porch was fantastic, possibly similar to greenhouses.

The smell of the earth when it rains after a prolonged dry spell.

Bearded irises, the common purple ones. Like sherbet!

There are so many glorious flower perfumes, I have a climbing rose in my garden and when you walk up the path to the sheds area, you walk into a cloud of rose scent going past it. It's wonderful!

I must be the only person in the world that can't stand the smell of freshly cut grass...
