I solved Semantle #66 in 52 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 10.14. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #49. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 56.08 (995/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I’m just entering the same cold words over and over. Aaargh. I haven’t found any of the clues for 960 helpful yet - anyone got an alternative clue?!

Can see how that would be tough.

When Americans say 960 what do they mean? And how do working class kids get there?

Have you tried thinking of all the different things you did at 960 (many of us perhaps quite reluctantly).

I’ve had no time at all today, so was super pleased to find 528 at guess 5, and got to 997 pretty soon after that but I am now soooo stuck, and tired, and frustrated I’m sure I won’t be able to get it without a big old hint. Can some kind person please help me? Previous comments about American/ British English are drawing a complete blank for me 🥴

Step away from specific kinds, think about how all the doers look.
