My only greens were 552 and 436...I definitely wasn't thinking along the lines of the top greens.
I solved Semantle #70 in 71 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 5.06. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #28. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 1.39. semantle.novalis.org/

I solved Semantle #70 in 42 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.41. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #39. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 35.07 (830/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I went a COMPLETELY different way. Having looked at the word list I have no idea how I got it following that specific path.

I’ve got 917 and 14 and a load of colds. Somehow think I’m still a million miles away!

I’ve got 292. And 250 cold words. Does 292 relate to the answer in any way? Or to anything? At all?

@Spudlet you'll get further up the greens thinking how 292 works in practice, but it won't lead you straight to the word.

I really need some help. I. 320 guesses in! And only got 5 greens, the highest being 848
I've never done so badly at this game

Ha - jumped from 286 to 991 and got it from that. Lucky.

What do you do to make 848 happen?

211 guesses and only 2 greens 568 and 258. They seem related but can't get higher at the moment. Gah!

Urgh. I got 265 last night before bed, can't find anything higher at the moment (also 205 and 161).

That got me 536 and then

I would have expected that green to be higher, and for quite a few of my cold words to have shown up.

I don't even know half the words on that list!

Mmmmm.... Still no higher. I suspect I am going to kick myself when/if I get it

I know quite a lot of the words, but hadn't got into the right area because "things with 346" were cold.

I've managed to get up to 955. None of my greens make any sense I've managed to get them all by typing random words. Will keep plodding on

I only have 95, 299, 572 and all other related words are cold.

Am I on the right track?

Got it in 144. First green was 736 which misled me.

Weird...that's one of the very few words in a category which you'd have thought would show up a lot, and the examples I can see seem to be ones which don't have 1000s.

Over 100 guesses in and I've only got 282 and 286. Are these going to help in any way please?
