That fourth one made me stop. I had used so many letters up. In hindsight, I'm surprised I didn't pick that as word three.

I'm convinced I have a different word here. I can only think of one other letter that would fit at the end of mine, some of you have a few alternatives?

I had at least 3 alternative last letters once I had the first 4 letters in place and had discounted a 4th potential last letter.

I can think of 4 possible words that have the first 4 letters from today's word for me.

@Hepzibar I'm wondering if you have yesterday's word for today from your previous comment? There do seem to be a few people online who have different words occasionally, well from what I can tell by their grids.

@Rewis that's amazing! I've only ever got 2 2's let alone a 1. I vary my starting word every day so it's very unlikely I'll ever get a 1!

Depends what you had eliminated.

Without elimination I can think of four words off the top of my head with those first four letters.

I have set of three words with distinct letters, I use one, two or all three of them until I feel I know enough to start searching for the right word. It is curious how powerful is negative information.
This time I had to use all three, but it worked :)

I've deleted Wordle and started again. It's allowed me to do todays again and the word is different! 'You couldn't make it up'
