Octordle was okish just managed to finish in time, Sedecordle I failed with one word for the first time in ages boo. It's very therapeutic, and I'm getting to learn lots of interesting 5 letter words

I've just looked at quordle. I'm baffled. Do you have to play every word at the same time?

@IsFuzzyBeagMise Yes you choose a word and it goes against each of the 4 sections, and tells you which letters are in the right place for that word etc. I've included a small screenshot of my last practice game, so you can see how it works for a couple of the words. The same goes for Octordle and Sedecordle.
I hope it's ok to post a Quordle practice answer, if not I can remove the post.

Three out of four isn't too bad for first time round @MinkyTunes !

@IsFuzzyBeagMise that's great for your first Quordle! It took me ages to win one. Even now my success rate is only 61%. The key is not to get stuck on one word, so try different letters on other unsolved words that could work for your stuck words.

Great start @IsFuzzyBeagMise! My tip on the multiple word games like quordle is have 2 or 3 starter words and use both (or all 3) before looking at individual words. You will identify or eliminate more letters and have a greater chance of getting them all. (I'm clearly not a "hard mode" player 🤣)

Thanks MinkyTunes ! It does require more brain power and patience! Do you move around or play one grid at a time? I'm thinking you should move around to maximise your chances of getting all four grids.

@IsFuzzyBeagMise I think as Losingthewill2022 says, there are a few strategies. I find if I do more than one eliminating word for Quordle then I run out of guesses, so I try to use letters that work for all of the 4 words. However for the larger games like Octordle etc, then I do use 2 eliminating words.

What a frustrating word! After choosing a great first word, to take that long, I was getting worried I'd break my streak!

DH got it in 3 from the same starting word grr.
But the worrying thing is that he lost all the game history this morning, did that happen to anyone else? I've played over 100 games, I'd be so upset to lose my history and streak.

Considered an elimination word but went for it.
