Btw I had only 5 greens, just happened upon the right guess to get me to the word.

Annoying. I thought I'd already put that one. Admittedly I did resort to the thesaurus. Very tired today so not the best day to be trying to solve puzzles.

My guess 11 was 977, then guess 15 was 990! I think I did pretty badly after that start! I don't think any of the words I got in the top 1000 really related that well to it. it was a random guess in the end!

766 is my highest. Am I on the right track as I've run out of synonyms!

Finally! Got it in 67. Had about a million greens, was up in the 900s within a handful of guesses and then dithered about for ages. Cheated with a thesaurus in the end

Holy shit, I got 992 on my first guess!!! That has never happened to me before, it usually takes a while to get any greens at all!

Oh I liked today. I got 987 on guess 9 and just got to use synonyms until I reached higher each time.

Business hint helped me get it from 998!

@TimeSlipMushroom people sometimes make an "766 in 'actual word'". Rehash of the clues above but if you think of people saying those words you might get it. It's on a par with 766 in terms of the word not being very exciting.
