Based on my first couple of greens, there were so many words I was trying that felt that they should've been there but weren't so this was very frustrating today!

I solved Semantle #60 in 140 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 1.90. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #59. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 10.32. semantle.novalis.org/

@JaneJeffer yes, I think my 28.2 was the same as yours, as I just finally thought of a word that is only very vaguely related and that gave me 955 at long last!

I'm 111 guesses in now, so can someone please tell me is 955 is on the right track, or should I try to push my useless brain in a different direction?!

@ZiaMcnab you're on the right track but I think the lower word has a nearer meaning!

@ZiaMcnab 955 or the target preceded by "in" would sort of mean the same.

Found this a lot harder than my stats suggest. 998 came out of seemingly nowhere and then I got it.
