I've got such a random assortment of words. How is 537 anything to do with 551?!

I solved Semantle #58 in 109 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 14.45. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #6. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 11.47. semantle.novalis.org/

My first day back at Semantle after a weekend away and maybe the tides have turned!

I solved Semantle #58 in 18 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.40. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #4. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 3.89. semantle.novalis.org/

Just goes to show how much luck plays a part: my 1st green at guess 4 was only 419 so I carried on with fairly random guesses but landed on 995 on guess 7. Unfortunate that I tried every single lateral link to 995 before landing on the target but I’ll take 18 guesses! And it’s brought my average right down to 72.38.

So pleased to be back!

Not a single green until guess 84 where I've hit 900. Now I'm back on no more greens

@BabbleBee 551 is only very, very tangentially related, I’m afraid, I’d stop following that track if I were you!

I solved Semantle #58 in 32 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 9.02. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #14. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 77.92 (999/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Either I'm getting better at this or I'm getting luckier. Though I do not know why on earth I guessed 999 before 1000.

I’ve smashed worldle, managed globle, conquered quordle and waffle by the skin of my teeth today but nerdle is absolutely impossible, so I feel your pain @JaneJeffer 😂

does anyone else go off muttering numbers when someone is looking for a clue and you need to check the list?
