Just as the title says what are your personal favourite sounds to hear. Mine are:

Car tyres on gravel.
Horses hooves on pretty much any surface.
Dawn/dusk chorus.
Tinkly bells.
Rustling paper bags.
Cats purring/trilling.
The beep at the supermarket.
Creaking tree limbs.
Logs cracking.
Crunchy leaves.
Crickets and grasshoppers.

Car indicators

My favourite sound is one that you can hardly hear any more.
It's the sound of a new plastic straw bending at the bendy bit! I used to put it right up to my ear to do it!

Heavy rain at night sweeping across the roof

My little dogs tail wagging against something, sounds like a drum

Cicadas in the trees in a hot country.

Wood pigeons.

A fire crackling.
A guitar in the garden on a summer evening.
A baby doing a full on belly laugh.

There is a bird where I grew up called a koel, whose call I find very soothing
Water lapping on the side of a lake
A quiet room with occasional pages turning (like in a library)
Footsteps on stone in a big echoey building like a cathedral or chapel
When my kids were babies, I loved that big sigh or very gentle snore that they would sometimes do in their sleep without waking up

The click sound of a surgical instrument coming together.

Bubbles in a fizzy drink as it sits in the glass.

The wind in the trees.

A baby's laugh.

Wine glugging into a glass.
The squelch as you pull a spoon out of jelly.
Children laughing.
A distant lawnmower on a sunny day.
The peace of children finally asleep - yeah I know not actually a sound.

Our Sighthounds lapping up water.

Walking along the shoreline listening to the sound of waves.

A horse whinnying.

Cows mooing.

Sheep baa-ing.

Cats purring.

A skylark singing (sadly don’t hear that so often any more).
My dogs tail thumping frantically against the sofa when I speak to her or stroke her.
Dried leaves crunching as you walk through them in autumn.
Certain Australian bird songs, when I hear them on a programme they take me back to when we lived there.
The chuckling noise Guinea pigs make.
A cork popping out of a champagne or Prosecco bottle.
Babies laughing.
My mobile ringing with the tone I have set for my DP calls.
Logs crackling on a fire on a cold wintry day.
Owls hooting at night.

The sound of a cricket ball being thwacked by a bat.
A lawn mower on a sunny day.

Rain on the roof or a window pane. Especially at night, it makes me hurry up to our bedroom in the attic.

On the other hand, I CANNOT STAND the clicky key sound option that DC keeps turning on the iPad. They love it however….

Bubbles popping around your ears in the bath
When I was in primary I loved the sounds of shoes on the polished hall floor

Birds in the woods
Waves

A twenty second recording of my granny’s voice, recorded about a year before she died - love listening to it and remembering . I know it by heart now .

Dawn chorus.....

Absolute ... silence. It's so rare.

my daughter's laughter. i hope she stays happy always

Another vote for cicadas in the trees
Rain on the (corrugated iron) roof when lying in bed
Purring cats

Oh - nearly forgot one of the best - Australian magpies
