Do you know what your neighbours cars look like?!

Just a random conversation with dh and he asked me if their cars were still there. I honestly have no idea what cars they are, I know one of them is white but couldn’t tell you what make it was. And I don’t even know the colour of the other car.
Sometimes they park on their drive, other times they park on the street. I clearly don’t pay attention!!
Just got me wondering if everyone knows what cars their neighbours drive.

Yes, and their regular visitors too. That being said, we live in a close off a close so it's rare for a 'stranger' car to appear.

I wouldn't know reg or models. But I could say the make and colour of both my immediate neighbours cars and the two houses opposite. I think

I know what colour the closest houses' cars are, but not the make and I wouldn't know if they had a different type of car parked in front if it was the same colour. Most cars look the same to me.

My DP often says 'There's our car in blue/green/whatever', and I have no idea how he knows - it just looks like any other car. (We have a Focus so lots around I guess.)

I know everything about my neighbours cars - I'm all about details so I find out as much as I can by searching on a car check app or the gov website. I know the woman across the road takes her car for it's MOT 2 weeks before it's due, every year, I know the guy next door ignores all the advisories on his because the recur every year and I know the guy up the street is 3 months overdue his

Vaguely, I know colour and approximate shape, I have no interest in cars. Dh could tell you everyone in the street, lol. I'm not generally very observant, I couldn't even tell you any front door colours and I'd walk past my neighbours in another setting as they'd be out of context!

I mean, I do know that our immediate NDNs have two minis. I think one is green and one is silver/grey. They also have another car...don't know what it is but I think that's also either silver or grey.

Past that...no idea whatsoever.

In my defence, we do live in the countryside so don't share a boundary with anyone else and there's a field opposite.

However, when I think back to living in towns and cities I never had any idea whose car was whose then, either (though, I also didn't drive back then so had no real reason to think about cars parked outside).
