Suddenly on my own for tea...what should I have?

Unexpectedly rid of my kids for a couple of hours...going to watch a film and eat something nice...but what?!
I don't want to cook (much) but really don't like carry outs and ready meals are always disappointing...
Is there anything easy / decadent I could rustle up?! I'm needing to pop out anyway so happy to grab ingredients!

@girlinglasses

Oh the dream!! I would want comfort food, maybe a quick chilli. Fry red onion, chuck in some pork/beef mince, brown, add 1 tsp of all spice, add a couple of table spoons of tomato purée and some chipotle paste (about a tablespoon, depending on how much you like spice) and 350mls beef stock, simmer down for 15 mins until thick. In the mean time throw on some basmati rice/Quinoa/bulgar wheat, and bonus points for dicing some apple and red onion and chucking in a bowl with some red wine vinegar while the chilli cooks. Add a dash of olive oil and mix before serving on top of the chilli (along with sour cream/Greek yoghurt and cheese, obvs). Whole thing takes under half an hour and there is minimal chopping and maximum flavour. I've made myself really hungry.
How long to clean up afterwards though?

@HunterHearstHelmsley yes did you get it? I haven't tried it but might see if it's available where I am tomorrow! Love the salted caramel McFlurry

Yes! It was OK... I was expecting amazing things being as its sold out in loads of places. The beef one is definitely nicer.

Salted caramel McFlurry was a winner though 😋

I love a solo tea. No way would I be cooking a 'proper' meal.

Beans on toast
Poached egg on toast
Cheese on toast (poss add mushrooms /onion)
Sausage barm
Bacon, brie and cranberry baguette
Part baked baguette with butter, soft cheese and chutney
Or a bucket of kfc Grin

I would so be getting a camembert, bacon lardons on top and things to dip. Discovered after Christmas that tenderstem broccoli and sprouts Blush go really nice as well as crusty bread. Washed down with lots of wine.

Selection of cheeses with salted butter, crackers, apple & celery, couple of chutneys followed by cheesecake with extra thick double cream.
