I grew up on a farm - so lots of animals to name. When my younger brother was given the task, he would look around and name the first thing he saw, so we had lots of pet lambs etc. called 'Window', 'Radiator', 'Bottle' ... well you get the idea.

Perhaps we could apply it to naming children. In which case mine would be called 'Clock' and 'Basket'. It's a good job DH moved that chainsaw off the table earlier

We had hens called Racing Car and Pirate for this reason. They were pictures on face flannels.
