Is anyone else following it? Grin

Vardy's phone was accidentally dropped into the North Sea... Yeah right!

Who reads the sun anyway!

An estimated 1.2 million people every day in 2020.

It's likely to have the highest national daily readership in the UK. If not, it's very near the top.

If you're from Liverpool or nearby then I can understand why you wouldn't have much exposure to it. But like it or not, it's a major paper with massive readership.

Colleen wanted everyone to know Rebekah Vardy is a nasty piece of work.
And now we do, so fair play to her.

ajandjjmum · 18/02/2022 16:53

I think many of us already suspected it @MichaelAndEagle

whynotwhatknot · 09/03/2022 12:15

Has there been a ruling on this yet

prh47bridge · 09/03/2022 12:37

If you mean the overall libel case, no. The trial is currently scheduled for May.

Pedallleur · 09/03/2022 14:31

people worrying about how they will keep warm/pay bills and these 2 who had nothing before their husbands had successful careers are burning money over a nothing spat.

As has been pointed out previously, Rooney has no choice in the matter. Vardy can stop this any time she wants. Rooney can't.
whynotwhatknot · 13/03/2022 12:43

thanks

rooney has been taken to court for libel if she pulls out she loses

longwayoff · 13/04/2022 22:47

Oh no, calamity! Ms Vardy's lawyer has told the court that the IT expert employed to retrieve her WhatsApp data has unfortunately 'lost the password'. Another unfortunate and unavoidable occurrence with the technology in this case. Even worse, poor Ms Watt, agent, is "in a fragile state . . . and expressing serious concerns about giving evidence" and a forensic psychiatrist reports she is not fit to give oral evidence at the trial. 'Too ill to attend cross examination but was and is able to provide a statement provided she is not questioned about it'. So says The Guardian. I wonder if she's ever met Bozo.

meadowbleu · 29/04/2022 17:18

Second witness statement submitted to court by Mrs Vardy following ‘new developments’ Apparently her team has requested reporting restrictions.

orangeisthenewpuce · 29/04/2022 17:26

It says in the daily mail that Vardy's agent is being blamed by her for leaking the stories.

WinterDeWinter · 29/04/2022 22:21

I hadn't thought about this since I posted a couple of months ago, and yet I'm immediately AGOG again.

SpindleInTheWind · 30/04/2022 00:15

Someone’s been thrown to the wolves

Pedallleur · 30/04/2022 07:55

Is the agent taking the hit or is she going to turn round and hit Vardy with a lawsuit.

Wow, imagine if the Agent sued Vardy. It would be the gift that keeps on giving.

SpindleInTheWind · 02/05/2022 12:19

So does the actual hearing finally start this week? Or next week? I've lost track.

I think Vardy must be out of her mind to carry on with this. She has lost trust, reputation and standing; and now she's set to lose a fuck-tonne of money. If she were my client I'd have advised her a long time ago to drop it, say sorry to her mate 'for any misunderstandings', and have a nice spa week to reflect on her proclivity for gossip, something face-saving like that.

I really don't get the psychology of her pursuit of this.

Colleen wanted everyone to know Rebekah Vardy is a nasty piece of work.

….and with the addition of a lost phone and password, and now the agent thrown under a bus…

rocketfromthecrypt · 02/05/2022 12:52

I don't care if she wins, I think this case has exposed what a truly nasty piece of work RV is.

longwayoff · 04/05/2022 10:55

Yes. I foresee a work famine for both Vardy and agent. That will be someone else's fault of course.

newnamethanks · 10/05/2022 18:33

It's in court this week. Prepare yourselves . . .

ValerieCupcake · 11/05/2022 00:35

I've just skim read one of the many articles about it. It's bloody nuts. Peter Andre's chipolata willy. Two airheads with more money than sense. Nobody will want to know either of them. Lawyers laughing all the way to the bank. Who are the fools here?

mackthepony · 11/05/2022 01:44

Lost at sea is akin to Andy not being able to sweat

I'm Team Coleen all the way

mackthepony · 11/05/2022 01:49
