Well, you don't see that in the supermarket car park every day

I'm unsure if I should be disturbed or not, but I'm struggling to get this image out of my brain. Confused

Was walking through a car park along the pedestrian lane, with my 5 y/o and many other shoppers. Stopped to let someone past with a trolley, and saw a man in the drivers' seat of the parked car next to me, head back, looking to be asleep, with (what I thought) was a small dog on his lap.

The 'dog' had long silky hair, and he was stroking it enthusiastically... took a closer look and realized it was a woman's head and a BJ was being carried out in full view of us passersby.

I couldn't pass by fast enough. What are people thinking? So relieved DS didn't seem to notice so I didn't have to explain that one.

Urgh - that's grim.

PAFMO · 25/01/2022 07:41

Presumably (hopefully) the supermarket called the police and he'll be prosecuted for indecent exposure in a public place.
What did they say when you told them?

Dustyblue · 25/01/2022 07:55

I 'accidently' knocked the side of the car with my fist (I was literally up against the car) and just.... stared at them both. Then I moved on (was blocking pedestrian traffic and wanted to distract DS).

By the time I got through the car park to the entrance of the shopping centre, they'd driven away. It was all quite quick.

Yuck. I mean, just why would some sadsack be so desperate he'd get his dick out in a supermarket car park.
itsgettingweird · 25/01/2022 08:08

Nowt so strange as folk.

Good call knocking the car and drawing attention to it.

DH and I once went for a Sunday morning walk in a local forest. He drove into the car park which was empty except for one other car. Which had steamed up windows and was moving slightly suggesting some action going on inside. DH proceeded to park right next to it completely oblivious. I suggested some other area of the car park might be better, he moved and before we had got out the other car drove away. I felt quite sorry for the occupants Grin

EmmaH2022 · 25/01/2022 08:30

squashy why would he park next to someone else in an empty car park? Side note I keep 😂

OP that’s grim. I bet they get a kick out of doing that.

waterlego · 25/01/2022 08:36

Urgh, that’s rank.

A few years ago I was in a cemetery trying to find the graves of my grandparents and uncle. As I wandered about, I suddenly spotted a teenage couple shagging at the far end of the graveyard. She hadn’t even bothered to remove her brown leggings, which were just bunches up round her ankles. This was the middle of the day. It made me feel a bit sick and sort of ruined what should have been an important visit for me.

Dustyblue · 25/01/2022 08:55

It is bloody awful when it's so public. I think that's what bothers me most.

All I could think to do was to let them know they'd been seen and walk away. Believe me, I could've called out to the surrounding people, but then you don't know what you might start.

In the walk to the shopping centre I was frothing at the mouth & about to tell the Centre Management to call the police, but they'd driven out and I deflated.

Urgh. Some people.

The far end of a village car park near us is renowned for this, it is also the car park used for school drop off/pick up.

The police had to be called a couple of times as even the fact it was school pick up time didn’t put people off.

Disgusting.

Oh my, that's frightful. No wonder you felt ill.

We forget how many bizarre people are out there. Shudder.

I’d have reported this. You probably have a better idea as you were there, but I’d be considering whether it was a consensual act going on. Grim to witness under any circumstances.

strawberrymilk7 · 25/01/2022 09:28

I'd say they got a right fright when you knocked on the car! Seriously though what is wrong with some people. In daylight in a very public placeShock

BadLad · 25/01/2022 09:39

If I remember correctly, Gillian Taylforth was a high profile case of this.

I remember an amusing cartoon of a policeman stopping her car and saying "No, madam, when I asked you to blow, I meant into this bag".

I hadn't considered the lack of consent issue... but am doubting it. They both looked up with a similar look of shock. When she looked up I copped the full view/realized.

In any case I was a bit late to report anything, they'd well gone.

I unfortunately have seen this happen in carparks, viewable from MY OWN CAR

There seems to be a trend that was even around when I was a teen (15 years ago!) of teens gathering in graveyards to drink/take drugs/shag.

I get their point that it's a quiet place to go in an evening.. but at the same time it's so disrespectful. I never went myself.

SedentaryCat · 25/01/2022 10:53

This happens at the back of the car park at our local big supermarket. Usually when it gets dark though, thankfully not in broad daylight. Always park closer to the shop entrance after dark.

PearlclutchersInc · 25/01/2022 10:56

squashy Your husband is one of those that parks next to the only car in an empty car park? Hmm

Leslienope · 25/01/2022 11:33

Gross. Totally not on and pretty sure it's illegal to boot.

I think for people who do that kind of thing that is the whole point 🤮

Hope she didn’t open the door to spit.

Takeitonthechin · 25/01/2022 12:54

You should have got the number plate and reported them to the police...

Riapia · 25/01/2022 13:32

Photo or it didn’t happen.😁
