Which perfume you have worn that people commented on?

I don’t know which ones they are, but I’ve complimented both men and women to be told “it’s Tom Ford”. Is there a unisex scent?

Me and my husband both wear neroli portofino and get so many comments on it.

Juliet Has A Gun - Lady Vengeance. Love it but expensive and not easy to get. John Lewis used to stock it, but not now.

Funny how alien, angel and aura get mentioned so often on these posts- I can’t stand to be near any of them, they’re horrible and the only ones I’ve ever had to scrub from my skin. Also le vie est belle and flowerbomb- instantly noticeable but not in a good way. If you wear these and people comment they may be working out which scents to avoid!

I have to agree. Those type of perfumes are so sickly and overpowering and they all smell the bloody same! Definitely ones to avoid

Can't believe no one has said paco rabanne olympea (the pink/orange one) I get so many compliments wearing it and my friends and mum have all bought it too since discovering it!

Alien is an odd smell to me and I avoid Anais Anais and LouLou - you can smell them, but in an unpleasant way!

I have TF neroli portofino and I think it smells just like savlon. I liked it in the shop and now don’t, massive shame.

I got Vera Wang’s Rock Princess recently as a day to day easy to wear kind of thing, and that’s the one that people have noticed most!

Whichever pp said you can't rely on what others wear is definitely true for me. I've gone up to people to ask what they are wearing, and many of the scents mentioned here have been named. But when I try them, they smell like home made fertilizer on me. Which is why I was so unhappy when CJ changed the formulation of Eternity, and it no longer smells so good on me - but from the number of people who still love it, it's just me and my perfume-killing skin again!
