Old or new, smart or not. What are you enjoying wearing at the moment?

Mine are a woollen jumper, about five years old and with a small hole under one arm. But perfect for lazy weekends at home.

A pair of bamboo socks with birds on. I normally wear boring socks but these were a lovely present from a client.

An old Gudrun mac, a bit battered but still gets compliments.

Gardening trousers, lounging pyjamas and bed t-shirts.

QuizzicalEyebrows · 16/01/2022 11:47

My piglet in bed linen pyjamas

SB power leggings

Barbour quilted coat

Knee length puffy coat from Asda, lovely and warm without being bulky.
Wide legged lift slim and shape trousers from Next. Nice heavy material and my bum looks majestic in them.
Nike resposto trainers.

I find it weirdly comforting to read all these lists of pleasing clothes

Mine are currently some black coated jeans from Marks
A black chiffon blouse with pleasingly billowy sleeves also from Marks
Silver boots from Sam Edelman

As a bonus leisure item, some pyjamas from Asda covered in stars. So cosy and have pockets ( useful when transporting tea, biscuits AND phone from down to upstairs Grin)

I didn't think about pyjamas but I looooooove mine. I've got two pairs of silk pyjamas, one pink, one blue that I got in the John Lewis sale a few years ago and alternate. They're fabulous - cool when it's hot, warm when it's not, and so comfortable it's like wearing nothing at all.

MangoLipstick · 16/01/2022 13:14

My tapered slim jeans from Whistles. High waisted, so really comfy. Mid blue, they go with almost anything. I love them.

A pink fluffy jumper I got from Zara a couple of years ago.

A black mini dress from Monki, an easy throw on piece that looks good with a T-shirt underneath or a big sloppy cardigan over the top, boots, trainers etc.

I have lots of favourite pieces of footwear. My black DMs probably steal the top spot though.

three fave items of clothing?

  1. Mint velvet and F&F skinny jeans.
  2. H&M premium cashmere oversized polo neck and other cashmere jumpers
  3. Seasalt Janelle coat/MV leather jacket
DoodlesMam · 16/01/2022 13:19

I need more! And all my Duo boots with 42cm legs.....

MrsTimRiggins · 16/01/2022 13:23

My favourites;
A pair of mid rise straight/slim cut jeans which make my arse look amazing - surprising bargain from asda
Tan leather Chelsea boots - Ariat
Cream chunky knit roll neck jumper - old as the hills but still so soft and comfy and surprisingly flattering, can’t even remember where it came from

Realistically what I wear most around the house as a relatively new first time mum;
Grey joggers - Canterbury
Breastfeeding hoodie - present from my mum for Christmas
Fluffy sheepskin slippers - again, present from my mum Grin

Somethingsnappy · 16/01/2022 16:20

A pair of brown DMs with a red tartan lining and ribbon laces that I bought years ago and rediscovered the other day!

Not really clothes as such, but an Oscha sling that I've just bought. Their fabrics are stunning.

A hand knitted Icelandic jumper.

And a Kemi Telford skirt.

Sorry, that's four! But the sling doesn't really count as clothing exactly.

TabithaTittlemouse · 16/01/2022 16:36

3 is hard!

  1. La redoute jumper. It’s cream and very cosy.
  1. Alexa Chung a line dress. It just fits beautifully.
  1. Birkenstock slippers. They are my life Grin
nordica · 16/01/2022 16:42

Aesthetic Laundry black pinafore dress - it's made of sweatshirt fabric so super comfortable but still makes me feel a bit smart and stylish.

Seasalt Plant Hunter coat. It's perfect for this weather - warm but not too warm and rainproof.

Heat Holders thermal socks 😆 My feet get so cold indoors this time of year and these are the only socks/slippers that help.

StCharlotte · 16/01/2022 16:50

Great question!

A navy long line sweater from an M&S outlet over stirrup leggings from Sainsbury's and my UGG mini fluff ankle boots which I wear as slippers. Perfect for weekend lounging.

A short floaty floral smock dress bought from a local boutique. Worn with leggings or blavk tights and knee length boots. Wore it yesterday out to lunch with some girlfriends.

For work at the moment it's a dark tartan relaxed shift dress from Sainsbury's worn with black tights and knee length or ankle boots.

I also have a fine knit gold sweater which I bought just before Christmas that I'd like more occasions to wear it.

mamaduckbone · 16/01/2022 16:56

1.My down duvet coat from Uniqlo which was my Christmas present from Dh last Christmas- it's soooo warm.
2.Slightly cropped, loose fitting dark denim jeans from Kin at J Lewis. I'm so glad skinny jeans are 'over' since they make my legs look like parsnips.

  1. An oversized pale blue v neck sweater; cheap and cheerful from H&M but very cosy.
It's all about warmth and comfort at this time of year.

  • Camel coloured “boyfriend” slightly oversized cardigan.
  • An A line denim mini skirt with buttons up the front
  • Jack Wills pants
