I would rather streak down the high street than clean my kitchen blinds.

Washing up. Bought a dishwasher in the end to eliminate this but i now have a hatred of filling and emptying it.

Whatayear81 · 12/01/2022 18:42

Change bedding on high beds

Frangipaniflower · 12/01/2022 18:44

Pairing socks and emptying the dishwasher

HellonHeels · 12/01/2022 18:45

Washing up. I'm desperate to het a dishwasher.

Anything to do with the kitchen floor. Makes me feel sick.

MadamMaltesers · 12/01/2022 18:46

Cleaning the bloody kitchen, the dishes in particular do my head in arghh

FanFckingTastic · 12/01/2022 18:47

Hoovering the stairs. Gah!!! Having to use the attachments (which I'm not convinced actually work at all) and drag the feckin hoover half way up the stairs with you. I literally despise doing it.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 12/01/2022 18:48

Cleaning the bathroom (I'm really squeamish about finding hair when it's no longer attached to my head 😅), putting laundry away, and washing up (I'm grieving for my old dishwasher).

Laundry is the fucking worst. Doesn't help that I own a LOT of clothes. When DP and I moved in together, he was floored by the sheer amount of clothes we had to find space for 😬

TheCanyon · 12/01/2022 18:49

Making the beds, two high sleepers, fucking hate it!

Cleaning the tv.

Ifonlyidknownthen · 12/01/2022 18:56

Mopping the floors, we have large surface areas of wooden and flagged floors in quite a big house and it takes me ages, and they always seem just as dirty afterwards as they were before 😭

MrsKDB · 12/01/2022 19:00

Hate cleaning, love a clean house so hired a cleaner.

Putting washing away - HATE IT - delegated to DH / teenagers .

Laundry - don’t really mind doing this

Bed changes - everyone does their own

Most hated after those is probably meal planning / shopping / cooking / keeping on top of pantry / fridge so there’s enough of everything. Just so boring and relentless

CoffeeChocolateWine · 12/01/2022 19:03

Putting clean washing away
Changing bed sheets on the 2 high sleepers. Any other bed is fine.

WarmSausageTea · 12/01/2022 19:04

Vacuuming. The absolute chore of it, and if I feel the blast of air from the machine on my skin, I could cheerfully throw it against the wall.

blahblahx · 12/01/2022 19:04

Ironing 🤮

FreeFrenchHens · 12/01/2022 19:17

Vacuuming.

I've hated every single vacuum cleaner I've every bought. It's not them, it's me.

MinnieMountain · 12/01/2022 19:17

Meal planning.

Emptying the clothes dryer.

MonicaGellerBing · 12/01/2022 19:25

Stripping beds
Putting clothes away
Emptying the kitchen bin
Anything to do with a food shop, buying, taking in the delivery and putting it away, detest the whole process
Evening school run. Cba to talk to people and the kids are always in foul moods and act like arseholes until they are fed

Fatarseflanagan09 · 12/01/2022 19:26

Cleaning the bathroom floor especially around the toilet, cleaning the skirting boards and anything with hair and dust, it makes me feel sick.

Twatforaneighbour · 12/01/2022 19:27

Cleaning the bathrooms

JesusSufferingFuck22 · 12/01/2022 19:28

Hanging up socks and pants on the clothes horse.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 12/01/2022 19:31

Dusting. It's so fucking futile as it reappears within seconds.

Cleaning the oven. I get a company in to do it now

HopingForMyRainbowBaby · 12/01/2022 19:33

All of it

MissMaple82 · 12/01/2022 19:33

Bathrooms and ironing

Thighdentitycrisis · 12/01/2022 19:35

Putting away clean dishes - I do the washing up but hate putting clean stuff away

AffIt · 12/01/2022 19:36

The whole laundry faff - sorting it out, putting it in the machine, taking it out the machine, hanging it up to dry, taking it down, folding it, putting it away. It's just such an endless cycle of dirge.

(I don't iron, so I suppose that's one less thing.)

Dusting can get in the fucking sea as well.

I quite like hoovering and cleaning the bathroom, though.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 12/01/2022 19:39

Cleaning the shower cubicle(s). Too many nooks and crannies, even in the supposedly modern ‘low profile’, frameless one. Pain in the arse.
