Incredible snack combinations

Over Christmas I discovered the joy of

Chilli cheddar
White grapes
Unsalted cashew nuts

Any other combinations I'm missing out on?

A Ginger Nut used as a spoon in yoghurt 👌

Cream cheese between two slices of cheddar

TomNooksSweaterVest · 04/01/2022 23:55

Honestly, another one here for peanut butter and celery. Perfect combination. Either dip your celery into the PB or slather a stick with it and crunch away.

Also, cheese and peanut butter sandwich. With a tiny scrape of Marmite on one slice and a tiny scrape of salad cream on the other. No need for any butter or spread.

Dry roast peanuts with cheese ( Camembert/ Brie/ Emmenthal my faves) in a wholemeal sandwich. Could add ham.

FocacciaFingerer · 05/01/2022 11:43

Chopped dates and peanuts
Toast spread with cream cheese and drizzled with chilli sauce
Slices of apples spread with peanut butter
Chocolate protein shake whizzed up with frozen cherries (black forest gateau in a glass)

You're welcome 😁

Unsalted rice cakes
An apple
A tangerine
A carrot

@OneMorePieceofCheese

Mature cheddar and Christmas cake. A Yorkshire speciality!
Try Wensleydale instead. Or Cotherstone if you can get it.

And of course pick off the marzipan first.

Cheddar with Parkin on bonfire night but something slightly sharper with fruitcake (or an apple).

My Grandma made the best sandwiches ever, she called them 'beach sandwich'

Peanut butter on one side of bread, picallili on the other, sliced cucumber over the top of peanut butter and sandwich them together.

Pàte and crisp sandwich

The chili honey is a great idea. Had some yesterday at friend's house. A spoonful in hot water with lemon would be ace if you have a cold.

iklboo · 05/01/2022 12:24

@Dogmum40 - I scoop Seriously Spreadable out of the tub with mini cheddars. The Red Leicester ones are amazing with the vintage one.

How many of you are pregnant?? I'd guess at least 70% based on some of these answers Grin though I have taken note of a few suggestions

Starsnores · 05/01/2022 12:39

Salted peanuts sprinkled on lentil soup. Would possibly also work with dry roasted but husband has eaten all of them.

PurpleFadesToGreen · 05/01/2022 12:51

Walkers Thai sweet chilli crisps with a cadbury caramel nibble on top eaten together...yum.

Peanut butter and Marmite is like dry roasted peanuts.

Peanut butter and chocolate toffee sauce is like Snickers.

Ooh I’ve never scooped and never tried the Red Leicester one either! This could be a game changer 😆

Those mentioning Pringles need to specify flavour
