Incredible snack combinations

Over Christmas I discovered the joy of

Chilli cheddar
White grapes
Unsalted cashew nuts

Any other combinations I'm missing out on?

Toasted tea cake spread with cream cheese and apricot jam. You could use panettone instead of tea cake.

Oooh I've got one - dates smothered in almond butter.

Tuna mayo on peach halves ( usually tinned)

Jar of honey, 1 tsp of dried chipotle . Mix and leave it . The longer the better but it's still amazing after just 24 hours. Drizzle it over any cheese and crackers. Over fruit, over chocolate. On sandwiches. Your OH 😂🤷🏼‍♀️. It's bloody AMAZING. I made some little paste sized jars for Christmas gifts with posh local cheese and home made crackers and everybody has asked for full size jars ASAP and offered to pay for it too.

Do you mean powdered chipotle? This sounds amazing!

Bag of salted popcorn with a bag of minstrels tipped in

Vanilla ice cream topped with Kellogg cornflakes drizzled with golden syrup - so good!

Slice up some cheese (whichever you like), press a hula hoop in like a little pastry cutter, cheese filled hula hoop. I started doing this years ago and it stuck!

Pringles and coleslaw.

Digestive biscuit spread with Philadelphia cheese and a blob of jam. Mini cheesecakes.

Bbq hula hoops and chocolate

Crackers and Stilton with redcurrent and port jelly.

OXO cube crumbled over Rich Tea biscuits (one of my regular lunch choices 😁)

Peanut butter pushed into the groove of a crisp celery stick. The perfect balanced food, where the dry claginess of the PB is counteracted by the crisp juiciness of the celery.

I’ve winced at most of these combo’s but the oxo cube over biscuits? Just noo! 😩

Scrap what I said before, this is hands down just the worst combo ever.

Polish pretzel sticks with onion dip !

Bread slightly burned, cover it in chilled and churned cow's milk and add some mashed up oranges and sugar. Lovely first thing in the morning with a cup of tea.

I also enjoy red grapes and sugar, gently mashed up and allowed to go a bit mouldy.

Chocolate digestive with cream cheese, like a cheesecake
Digestives and cream cheese was one of my fave after school snacks in the 1990s (but never thought of trying chocolate Digestives- not sure my mum would have sanctioned that!)
Pretzels dipped in Nutella
I need to try this. When I was pregnant my favourite snack was pretzels dipped in cream cheese mixed with marmite.

@KurtWilde before I gave up dairy I would happily peel down a cheese string until I could fit a column of hula hoops over it!

This thread is fantastic (with the exception of peaches & tuna, sorry lol).

• Mashed avocado & coriander on toast, lots of chili flakes & salt and a good drizzle of honey.

• Tortilla chips smeared with Philadelphia cheese and topped with a dollop of salsa

• Freshly made popcorn with loads of butter plus a tsp of salt and a tbsp of sugar

Seriously strong cheese spread, spread thickly over mini cheddars (I really really like cheese)….

Walkers Cheese & Onion crisps dipped in dairylea - or in a sandwich but with dairylea instead of butter.

Mature cheddar and Christmas cake. A Yorkshire speciality!

And when you run out of christmas cake use Malt Loaf instead.

Sip of hot tea followed by a sip of cold coke. Repeat.
