Just seen Royal Mail vans out on Sunday! Apparently this is a permanent thing delivering parcels. What do think about Postman working on Sunday’s if they wish too?

My friends a post lady and she works on a Sunday doing overtime, she’s delivering COVID test to homes, she says the extra will pay for a summer holiday. So I don’t mind at all!

@Georgeskitchen

Posting the letters into the correct letter box would be a start. Some of them can't even do that
I’d love to know what your accuracy would be when you’ve got 100s of addresses to deliver to and 15 miles to walk in all weathers.

A lot of the good terms and conditions have been eroded though.

this is he case for so.many companies/industries though. I work for a retail chain, the old contracts for warehouse staff with double time for nights/weekends etc are long gone, head office staff joining now don't get as good benefits as longer serving staff. Think about final salary pension, how many exist anymore? Or restaurant/pub staff getting triple.time on Christmas day, retail staff getting double time on Sundays.

What's wrong with working a Sunday? Loads do it.
My friend works for RM. she prefers to work a weekend when her dd is with her DF then she can have the extra 2 weekdays with her dd.
