We have them all over the house.

I use Alexa to:

• turn central heating on and off.
• Announce the Eufy doorbell is ringing.
• Turn lamps on and off.
• Shopping list.
• Play Spotify
• Drop in on DP when he’s in his work shed instead of having to walk down the bottom of the garden.
• Ask pertinent questions immediately while I’m watching a movie etc on TV - eg, Alexa how old is Sandra Bullock? Life changer.

OMG, I forgot the most important thing! Playing thunderstorm sounds at night. Can't do without it.

@Justyou yes, I litterally say "Alexa, play spa music for 30 minutues" whenever I'm struggling to sleep

I just keep getting 'playing spa by icona pop from Deezer' and it's definitely not relaxing 🤣

Mostly for music in the kitchen when I'm cooking, timers, and 'announcing' to DS that it's time to get his arse out of bed or that his dinner's ready. It can probably do a lot more but we don't have 'smart' anything, really!
