Bit of fun!
Watching Only Connect and discussing who we'd rather invite to a party-
The Beckhams or the Coren- Mitchells?
We'd choose the C-Ms. that's the only question I am able to answer 😆😆

I think the Victorias would clash horribly. And DM would be just AWFUL to VB, even though she’s probably quite witty and a hoot.

Honestly, I think I’d have the CMs and VB. It’s only DB I’d want to stay home.

The C-Ms. I'm sure DB is a nice bloke, but he doesn't come across as the most interesting of people.
Have you read his leaked emails and the emails from the charity he was earning with? He's not a nice bloke at all.

A friend's DD had a work placement at VB's fashion design company. She said that VB was very involved and was nice. The staff were well looked after as well. She said that she thought DB was rather creepy.
Yeah, nicely looked after with public furlough money! (If she could have got away with it.)

As much as I like her, the CMs are just a bit too strident for me. I can imagine them talking over everyone very loudly to make a point.
I think the Beckhams are great to look at, especially David. Don't think I'll ever not fancy him.

Definitely the Coren-Mitchell’s. Every time I watch Only Connect I think how I’d love to be a fly on the wall at home with them and little Barbara or be invited round to dinner.

Coren-Mitchells, definitely. And I got 3 questions plus most of the missing vowel round tonight, so I assume I'm perfectly intellectually capable of maintaining the conversation (as long as it's about tongue twisters, hidden countries in other countries or where you put your tongue to pronounce various consonants). I'm still bitter about the rainbow one as I thought I'd got it straight away, but DH claims my alternative N with the N in green wouldn't have been accepted (especially as he's probably right, but j was so impressed with myself when I thought I'd got it).

Bollocks, auto correct changed my rainbow answer. I was still right though - I went with the letter being the colour of that rainbow stripe (i.e. r fourth letter was green).

I may be over-arguing this as I lost to DH in University Challenge, so need to regain some pride. Loving BBC2 8-9pm slot this week!
