I can’t get going again Grin
Where do you do it? I’ve tried at the kitchen island and table but things keep falling off so I’ve resorted to the front room floor. My back (which is already a bit dodgy) is aching so I’ve taken a short break. I may not start again this evening!

dining table

I sit on my bed with the ironing board in front of me and wrap on there. No more back ache and the bed can be used to store all the pressies and wrapping frippery. And lose the scissors and tape on Grin

I have serious spinal problems, normally I use a folding table that I can set at different heights but this year with my shoulder joining in I bought 40 drawstring present bags, they can be reused next year and after wrapping this morning I’m not back in bed for once😜

I use my kitchen table, on an afternoon after work. Wrapping paper on the worktop to the left ish. Any fussy/decorative bits go on later.

Their dad likes to wrap the square-ish presents (so books, cd, calendars) and clothes with me but this ends up waiting until Christmas eve 🙄 when it gets done either hiding in the kitchen, or on the living room floor.

I'm about to embark on a wrapping session on our king size bed. Will put something on the TV we have in there. Dp minding kids and doing dinner downstairs. Bliss.

in the bathroom door locked or on the bed with wedge under door

Dining table. I clear everything off, my tags and ribbons and bows are in separate bags, and I have another bag to throw the little off cuts and any labels I cut off things which I tape to the side of the table so it's close but doesn't t take up any room.

I Haven’t done anymore since I posted Grin
Well done to the rest of you, I do actually really love wrapping and taking time and care over the ribbons and paper choice etc, I’m off next week so will have some time to get it all done I guess.

@mnahmnah

Living room floor, with a Christmas film and Baileys
Literally the only way. Alternating between a easy present and a harder present to wrap.

Oh the bed, duvet tucked up behind to make it more comfy for back

spiderlight · 17/12/2021 16:58

I did most of mine this morning, on the floor with a very nosy cocker spaniel 'helping'.
