Saturday night drunk thread

I know it's only 6pm, but the kids are at their dads, DS1 (13) is on the xbox and I'm wrapping g Christmas presents with a baileys. It's salted caramel and there's a good chance I'm going ti finish the bottle as its amazing.

I am in front room with fam and DD and her BF. They are only teens and just started going out (first relationships). We are watching footie. I am a bit shy and nervous so I am on wine. DH is about to go to chippy for tea. It’s so nice to have another young person in the house and to have everyone together in one place. For once I am the only person on phone.

I'm accidentally half a bottle of baileys down already good job I have more!

My child is home for the weekend ( normally at his dads) so I had a lovely drink at 5 whilst making biscuits

Waiting patiently until he goes to bed so I can drink the rest!!!

His dad keeps texting him so assume he's not that fucking busy he couldn't have his son for the weekend

There have been lots of strops all day

It's very tiring

Im having one bottle of beer and ill have a baileys later. I have a long run in the morning and need a clear head and a decent night sleep. I dont sleep well after alcohol

Had the lovely guy I've been talking to on the phone. He's fab he is out with his work mates. I told him to go enjoy himself but he said he was enjoying talking to me.

You’d think id sleeping like a pig after it but after 2 hours im wide awake and buzzing.

I don’t mean ‘sadly I have the baby’ how it sounds! I love the baby, he looks like a slightly grumpy potato. Definitely going to enjoy a wine or two though.

@HerRoyalWitchyness Christ, I love a good drink but a bottle of baileys would make me vom. My sister once had a korma washed down with a bottle of baileys. You can image what happened. My mums carpet was never the same again.

Just ordered a bottle with supermarket shop😁

On my second glass and had a custard choux bun as an accompaniment.
I think salted caramel baileys might make it’s way into my shop for next week.

@HerRoyalWitchyness I think it was her first drinking night since having her baby and she went for it, it wasn't pretty. Think exorcist but the dairy version.

Just poured my first glass whilst watching Strictly - it's honestly my favourite time of the week Had a great day out and about with family and now just enjoying a bit of good telly and a cold glass of wine.

My SIL made me a Baileys once. A pint, in a pint glass, with a straw.

DC have all dispersed to rooms after we've just finished a bloody lovely takeaway curry. Just waiting for 2yo to go off then I'm opening the wine. It'll only be a couple of glasses but it will be well enjoyed.
