What’s Happening In Your House?

What I’m doing & what I should be doing are very different! I should be completely blitzing our bedroom. It’s so cluttered & dusty! I watched the Stacy Solomon programme earlier ( Sort Your Life Out) & felt partly inspired & partly depressed! I would apply but DD12 announced that she wouldn’t let anyone in her room. We have a fairly small house but it’s incredibly cluttered.
I seem to have lost time today. Haven’t been sleeping very well for weeks so it was lovely to get 6 hours straight. Popped to Asda for a new mop & some Christmas decorations for DD’s room. I’ve defrosted some of DH’s pizza dough & he will make a sauce later then we’ve got various toppings. Can’t wait for the next episode of Angela Black tonight.

Lazy day as had a rare late night out last night.

Just woke from a nap and about to put washing away, get school bags and uniforms ready, etc.

DH is cooking dinner and DC are on the Playstation.

Kids are playing, I'm getting ready for work tomorrow. Better half is in hospital :(

Luckily my mother is having the kids as I leave for work at 4am and come home Friday!

One DS working other DS hiding in bedroom supposedly doing homework. I’m on here after working till 3 and DH hogging the TV.
Just finished last of Prosecco from last night, having a tea and a Mr Kipling cake . Bath soon and an early night after The Strictly Results

Everyone is chilling.
I've just finished ironing and sorting everything out for tomorrow.
Felt ill all day but it's really ramped up in the last couple of hours so I'm on the sofa feeling crap.

Having a relaxing evening, I have a cold and DH is recovering from the “super cold”. Watching DH and DS7 playing Animal Crossing as it’s just had an update. Drinking vodka in Dr Pepper and eating way to many crisps trying to ignore the fact it’s Monday tomorrow.

Made cottage pie for dinner, eaten that and M&S spotted dick with custard for pudding. Have to tidy the kitchen, remake bed that was airing, iron 3 items followed by watching the Strictly results and Angela Black later.

Ds1 and his girlfriend are watching tv in their room.
Ds2 is watching tv in the conservatory.
Ds3 is in the bath.
Dd1 is in the shower.
DD2 is in her room.
Dh and dd3!have just had a bit of a barney and she's stomped off to her room.
I'm pretending to look for some lost Christmas presents in my bedroom (bought in the sales last year) but really I'm hiding and MNetting because they're all getting on my nerves 😀

Me and my daughter are watching Junior Masterchef Australia surrounded by our two cats and two dogs. We've just finished lamb shank dinner. She has mid terms so has been studying most of the day, and after moving my 18 year old son this week and having builders every day (including yesterday) I wanted a chilled day. Enjoying my wine and when daughter goes to bed will be watching the final of Money Heist - a Spanish drama on Netflix I highly recommend!

Love these snapshots, they give me hope of normal life existing. I'm isolated in my room, feeling awful with chest pains, sipping tea and so so exhausted. The teen DS are upstairs in their rooms doing homework, and I can hear my DH snoring from another room, he's been looking after me and I think it's all a bit stressful, it's not a nice atmosphere here, not our normal Sunday and I can't wait for life to go back to normal Sunday dinners and a glass of red wine and a trip to the local. And now I'm craving beef stew!!

@KurtWilde so so kind of you just made me all teary.. Honestly sickness is a real leveller to miss "normal" days.

Oh you're welcome @bloodyhoodedeyes bring ill really does make you stop and think about how nice the 'normal' days are. Even when we might think they're a bit boring or mundane, they're something we hanker for when we're ill.

Laying in bed on here and can hear an owl hooting, other than that totally silent.
