So husbands out tomorrow night for work dinner

Im going to get the three kiddies to bed & order myself a takeaway & catch up on some crappy TV!

What would you order???

I'd order all the starters and a crispy duck and seaweed.

Tom yum soup with chicken. Edamame beans. Thai green curry. Would die happy

The problem with the Chinese is that I always want to have bits of everything so it doesn't lend itself to being a solo meal well - or so I thought... this thread may have convinced me otherwise!

Gutted we had our shop arrive tonight so can't justify a takeaway!

Sushi and not hearing my husband moan about it being not filling enough for the price paid.

Running into Dominoes after hearing the Double decadence is back being like...

I’d probably deliveroo a Thai, sizzling beef and sticky rice, maybe some crispy salt and pepper squid to start.
No one else in my house is particularly fussed about Thai food, dh does enjoy it but only going out for it, not takeaway so I rarely have it delivered.

I'd go for a veggie burrito with lots of hot sauce and 'bits'. Not got a sweet tooth but love an exciting plate of cheese and crackers with port.

Crispy shredded chicken in capitol sauce with egg fried rice and prawn crackers

Salt and pepper chicken, fried rice and curry sauce

Bit limited takeaway wise so perhaps not my fantasy pick in an ideal world as I'm coeliac but I have in fact ordered tonight, from our local indian takeaway (certified gf).

I went for a chicken passanda, onion bhajis and some coconut and lime rice. Oh and chips, because I'm slovenly like that and can't get a curry without them. It used to horrify me but DP showed me the error of my ways.

Anyway he's at work so no need to share.

Pizza because dh doesn’t have at it. We regularly have Chinese and occasionally Indian but never pizza. So I’d get a totally overpriced Dominoes. Would actually prefer Puzza Hut but we don’t have one nearby.

I'd either get tempura prawns, gyoza and chicken satay sticks or a Chinese - crispy beef or chicken in black bean sauce with egg fried rice.

Mushroom chow mein and salt and pepper aubergine

I would get Ethiopian food.

House special curry,egg fried rice.
Spring rolls and salt and chilli chips😋

Paper prawns, pork sui-mai, bao buns, and peking crispy duck with pancakes spring onions cucumber & hoi-sin sauce. 🥢 🥡 🥡 🥡🥢

Chinese or French

Salt and pepper ribs, mixed veg fried rice and a mixed meat roll.

Singapore noodles and crisp seaweed

I did enjoy my soup last night but feel a takeaway is in order for tonight so looking at the suggestions again. I’m single and no kids so get to please myself, but you have to chose carefully because there aren’t options if yours isn’t good.
