Takeaway for one! What would you order......

So husbands out tomorrow night for work dinner

Im going to get the three kiddies to bed & order myself a takeaway & catch up on some crappy TV!

What would you order???

Ohh I would love to have this dilemma.

I think from the Chinese Takeaway I would have half a crispy duck or from the Indian Takeaway it would have to be Lamb Biryani with a stuffed paratha.

If Chinese i would get: large egg fried rice, sweet and sour king prawns Cantonese style, salt & chilli tofu, chow mein.

I'd still have over half of it left for the next day 😋

Mmm I always have Chinese when my husband is out as he doesn't enjoy it.

I usually have 1/4 duck pancakes, salt and pepper squid and chow mein. I recognise that's a lot of food

Cajun fries, a burger and a coke from five guys.

With Chinese I normally order one of

Mixed starter
Pork dumplings
Duck with pancakes

then banana or pineapple fritters.

Singapore noodles chicken chow mein and I wouldn't have to share like I normally do! Enjoy

I was driving home really wishing DH was back to midweek overnight travelling for work so I could order Chinese food for one tonight - sadly no chance just now! If I was ordering I’d get a special fried rice, or mixed omelette with fried rice and chips…ah well, never mind!

Ooh and salt and pepper chicken wings!

Domino's pizza - vegetarian hot with extra anchovies and olives and extra garlic and herb dip.

Never had a takeaway, I live off road, in a dark area, and quite a way from fast food places, and would feel sorry for a delivery person trying to find me.

If Chinese seafood then I’d go for salt answer pepper squid - will cope with delivery, where a lot of fish dishes might overcook.

@whatwouldyouchoose18 you are seriously making me reconsider my soup and bread roll.

Also do you like sweet stuff. For a real treat I once ordered a tub of ice cream - think it was with pizza and luckily kept well apart.

Never?! If I lived off the beaten track I think I’d still order a takeaway every now and then and just tip really well.

I’ve lived somewhere with little or no delivery - some of the stuff from supermarkets is pretty good, though of course spoiled by needing to heat it yourself - i can recommend the Chinese from M&S.

King prawn fried rice with Chinese curry sauce. Or a mushroom pizza.

I can see myself swaying towards a Chinese.

It's just a huge decision for one person to make alone.....
