Toilet paper that doesn't leave lint in your vagina!

Anyone else have this issue?! I recently bought a brand that is particularly bad and it can end up looking like someone has thrown confetti down there (tmi!) I can pick it out but I'm lookin for a brand that doesnt do this. Any recommendations? I don't want to use any thing scented or flushable wipes

I can't believe someone else had admitted this, I thought it was just me

Had to stop buying Asda shades Shea butter and aloe Vera

Hoppinggreen · 29/09/2021 10:55

Stop shoving it up there, just gently dab.
Or get Andrew to do it for you

MrsPsmalls · 29/09/2021 10:55

Here you go- don't shove toilet paper up your vagina. And when you are wiping your vulva and assorted outside bits...dab don't scrub.

It's very easy to install a douche to the water pipe of the toilet. It's a game changer!!! Wink

So happy to see this thread as this happens to me and I thought I was alone with it Grin

jessycake · 29/09/2021 10:57

My favourite is Waitrose essentials , its smooth and quite thin & doesnt block the loo ,I just hope they don't try to improve it , I've never checked for anything else

2lsinllama · 29/09/2021 10:58

Do you fold or scrunch? I’ve never had this happen so trying to work it out!

Xiaoxiong · 29/09/2021 10:58

@Mamamamasaurus your fanjo is ever linty, or never linty?? Never before has one letter made such a difference to the existence (or not) of your muff-lint!!

girlmom21 · 29/09/2021 10:59

Andrex Quilted or Aldi Quilted toilet rolls are both good IMO.

Can everyone stop being pedantic about vagina vs vulva? You clearly knew what she meant to have been able to comment.

Xiaoxiong · 29/09/2021 11:00

@grey12 I am really seriously considering this as poor old DS1 seems to have a really sensitive bum. My brother lives in SE Asia where they have one and call it the "bum gun" Grin

Thecurtainsofdestiny · 29/09/2021 11:01

Washable loo roll.

I did a waxing course and can confirm all you people saying it doesn’t happen to you…. It probably does! The majority had little bits of fluff.

Vagina and Vulva are commonly mixed up, if it makes you feel better pretending not to understand by pulling people down then go for it, although from my understanding pulling people down doesn’t actually make you a better person, it just makes you look difficult.

NoBetterthanSheShouldBe · 29/09/2021 11:13

I have this trouble with the toilet paper at the leisure centre.
It disintegrates on contact with water and the bits cling to everything it touches.

I’m only in their loo because I’ve been swimming!

Morrisons own one £2.80 for 9

It is fantastic! Wink but it has one terrible downside: you'll HATE going to a public bathroom that doesn't have it Grin especially the ones that don't even have a sink available to wet the tissue

Also as someone who dates women yup everyone I have ever seen has little bits of lint. Andrex seems to be amongst the least linty.
BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 29/09/2021 11:17

@NekoShiro

People who are saying they don't have this issue need to start looking at their vaginas with hand mirrors after going to the bathroom, I think you'll be surprised.

I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw a meme talking about it, showed my partner and he agreed and said pretty much every women's vagina he had seen always had little bits of toilet paper on it, it's a thing men understand and just don't bring up.

Agreed.
ASEAskeptic · 29/09/2021 11:22

I use Who gives a crap Bamboo loo roll. It's great - lots of structural integrity and still very soft

PlaidMaid · 29/09/2021 11:22

Ahh I have this - thought maybe I had pubes like barbed wire! It is a recent-ish problem, maybe toilet roll quality has gone downhill overall? Will try some of these recommendations!

ASEAskeptic · 29/09/2021 11:23

Also you never have to worry about panic buying shortages as it just gets delivered to you on a regular schedule. It's fab

Gingerkittykat · 29/09/2021 11:26

I'm now considering getting a mirror out to see if I have bits of lint over my vulva and just hadn't noticed before now.

paisley256 · 29/09/2021 11:26

Anything quilted stops this happening I've found. It's usually really cheap roll that this happens with, for me anyway.

I was going to type something similar, but you said it far better than I would have.

It's obvious what the OP meant. Many many people call it a vagina, in fact it was the standard term for a long time.

LookItsMeAgain · 29/09/2021 11:28

I find the Regina Softis brand particularly good at not disintegrating and being sturdy enough (yet gentle enough) to get the cleaning/drying bit done well.
