I live near the quaver factory and apparently they’re expanding and taking on loads more staff as demand for quavers have gone through the roof. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t eat them so can’t comment on any changes.

How bad can the manufacturing process of quavers actually be?! Meh, I’m not easily put off any food to be honest. My waistline can confirm this.

S&V quavers are amazing!! All these Walkers snack crisps are now 99 calories or less… it’s obviously affected the texture and taste.

I can’t abide the soft drinks full of artificial sweeteners. They coat my mouth and I can’t get rid of the taste . On the odd occasion I have a fizzy drink it has to be full sugar Coke .

Has anyone tried lucozade now, it's not even worth buying anymore.

Yes! I've always bought lucozade when I'm unwell as just the taste used to make me feel better. I bought it recently and it's very watery and tasteless now.

I buy Golden Wonder in Sainsbury’s, so much nicer than Walkers (and the bags are the right colour).

I was thinking similar about S&V chipsticks. It's like they've been squashed and making them much denser. Nothing like as nice.

Does anyone remember Wheelz? They were the best. They exist in the M&S combo mix but there's never many of them.

All this talk of quavers, I’ve just had to have a packet. Still delicious and even better if they’re a byproduct - waste not want not!
We make chocolate chip cookies using the waste sourdough starter. Also very nice.

Actually we make all sorts of stuff with the sourdough waste.

Seabrooks Crisps to the rescue!

Whenever I ate Seabrooks I'd get terrible pains in the joints in my hands. It was weird.

I had Ribena the other day and it was absolutely disgusting - what the heck have they done to it?!!!
