How often do you get a takeaway?

The only issue we have is now we are in a village pizzas aren't great as they come from quite a distance so those arrive late, soggy etc but when we were in London they were fine. Just don't order pizzas anymore. With the other ones some are much better than others.

leaves maybe give the restaurant at least (if not takeaway) another go ?? What happened during lockdown may have been real anomalies as lots struggled to secure supplies staff able to travel etc. Unless under new management I’d bet it was lockdown ?

Once a week, occasionally twice

We go through phases!
We will go a few months without eating a single takeaway. Then we’ll have weeks like last week, where everything is manic, and we have 2 takeaways in a week

We used to have one every week but it's really not affordable at £30-50 a time and we are trying to cut back on spending so now we are looking at once every 4-6 weeks. To be honest I always felt that weekly was extravagant it was only because DH didn't want to cook so he'd buy it in instead. I'm just making him cook now!

Usually every Saturday. We started it during lockdown when all the days felt the same and it gave the week a bit of shape. Now the kids really like it and we don't go out to eat that much so it works for us.

I'm trying to lose weight so sometimes I get something different to eat at home which is a bit healthier, and take the opportunity to make something no one else likes. This week they got Chinese and I had some Polish dumplings - still a treat but more like 400 calories instead of the 1000 I'd easily eat In Chinese.

Maybe once a year. I'm not keen - unhealthy, oily, fatty. Takeaway pizza is sooo expensive.

Usually weekly Chinese, Indian, Italian sometimes chippy which at east is cheaper. Although sometimes might also get get a mcds drive though.

If I was on my own it would be a lot more! 1 meal wld do me 2 days 😀

I'm starting to notice the price really going up though as we have 2 kids now but they are 4 and 1 so don't exactly eat loads but we usually order an extra meal now.

Once a month on the Friday closest to being paid. Known as pay day take away in our house!
