Anyone know where I can get a wipe clean table cloth that isn't madly expensive?

I need a round 180cm one but I don't want to spend over £50 as it's for the kids to ruin. I'm having no joy but admittedly I'm only looking online. any pointers gratefully received :-)

I got a couple from next. Also once from the middle of Lidl. They were all rectangular but sure next do round ones.

Shaws the drapers have inexpensive vinyl tablecloths.

Wipe Easy Tablecloths online.

Although suspect it might be the size that's causing the cost. Widest I can find is 142cm.

Dunelm sell it by the roll. You cut what you need. They often have end of rolls in the sale.

Wilkinson’s

Lucked · 29/08/2021 07:47

Do you mean like an oil cloth or pvc? Dunelm sells them from the roll for about £3 - 4 a metre

PaulaTrilloe · 29/08/2021 07:48

You can buy it on a roll cut to the length you want from markets and some DIY / hardware shops

Ouchiehelpneeded · 29/08/2021 07:50

There are some options within your budget here: www.joleetablecloths.co.uk/aqua-cube-geometric-pvc-vinyl-wipe-clean-tablecloth

I've always bought mine from Next. The choice isn't very inspiring at the moment, they're all quite dull, but they're inexpensive.

WellTidy · 29/08/2021 07:52

I buy it off the roll at the local market. It is loads cheaper and they cut it to size (or the nearest 0.5 metres or whatever they insist on). I’ve also seen at at Dunelm. Neither are online options though, sorry.

roundtable · 29/08/2021 07:54

The Range usually has them.

VinoBianca · 29/08/2021 07:56

Thanks, looks like I'll have to nip to Dunelm! I looked at Next but couldn't see any big enough. Will check out the Jolee ones too - I also looked at them but when I selected the size I needed the price shot up!

I got 240 from Amazon for under £20. Too much choice!

Keepitonthedownlow · 29/08/2021 08:05

I used stick on fablon from a roll to cover the top of my table.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 29/08/2021 08:05

You can buy it online at dunelm. They didn't have what we wanted in store and they checked for me and told me I could buy online.
We've just bought some to line our kitchen cupboards with and it's really good. They have some gorgeous patterns. We cut it with one of those rolling craft blades (aldi).

I previously bought some from eBay which they will precut into the shape and size you want. The cutting wasn't fantastic though so probably easier to do it yourself.

EatSprayGlove · 29/08/2021 08:10

Just be warned dunelm also sell them pre packed which are cheaper but the last one I got pre packed was rubbish and split down the folds straight away

VinoBianca · 29/08/2021 08:21

I'm probably being too picky about the pattern!

B&m

DobbleDobble · 29/08/2021 08:31

Another one to say Dunelm.
I bought mine off a roll, wipe clean patterned fabric , which the lady cut. It’s been going 5 years and as good as new still!!

Timeforachangetoday12 · 29/08/2021 08:33

I’ve used Dunlem & John Lewis - the material on the roll cut to the size I need.

amillionmenonmars · 29/08/2021 08:33

I used to buy mine from the markets in France - can't wait to be able to go there and do that again.....

As others have said Dunelm, but also the range have some nice designs at the moment.

HarkeyQuim · 29/08/2021 08:33

Then you definitely need Dunelm. My nearest Dunelm is not even that big and they have rows and rows of the stuff.
leavesthataregreen · 29/08/2021 08:35

Amazon. I got a lovely one for about £15 from them this summer. John Lewis also sell them by the metre so you can get it cut to the exact 10 cm length required. Range from about £7pm

misskatamari · 29/08/2021 08:44

If you search oil cloth on eBay, loads of suppliers come up with gorgeous patterns. That's basically what wipe clean table cloths are.
