Anyone having trouble with Tesco this evening?

I am 3/4s through my on line shop at Tesco when suddenly found myself in a waiting room. Asked a friend to try and she also found herself in the waiting room!

Yeah I checked out and everything when I got the slot, I was just going to log in this eve and add in everything we need ☹️

Same problem, though they were cherries but apples seem more likely . Also have basket saved with crazy choices, I've screenshotted the apples cherries to explain in the morning if I can't amend

I think I've got one bottle of champagne in mine. The drivers are going to be so pissed off when everyone sends them away tomorrow.

Yes been a bit weird earlier today when I went to check my delivery and asked me to sign in again, then loaded up and all ok (about 7pm).

If I'm in a waiting room I want a copy of Take a Break. Not a picture of apples 🍎

Well looks like £40 of cucumbers are coming tomorrow, serves me right for holding it and leaving it to the last minute to edit it I guess 😒

I wish there was champagne in my basket. Also like the sound of those lemon drizzle muffins ...

Why £40 worth of cucumbers? Why not just one? I know £40 is the cut off point for being charged but if you were going to change it anyway?

Because it wouldn’t let me check out with anything under the £40 at the time 😔 so to hold the basket I had to up the amount.

Does anyone know, if e.g. you have checked out with a basket of £1 milk, intending as you always do to finish the order at 9pm on Thursday night, so the total is showing as £1 milk + £4 under basket charge = £5……if he turns up tomorrow morning with my milk, and I send him away, do they refund me the whole £5, or just the £1 for the milk I have returned?
Don’t really fancy paying £5 for 2l of milk, but equally would prefer that to paying £4 for nothing!!

They are having problems in store as well. Not accepting payment via Apple Pay etc at tills , luckily I had my card with me ... but huge queues at till .

I held my basket with £40 of cucumbers! 😣 Was going to edit the basket after tea, now I can’t get in and get through on the phone either. ☹️

What will happen if we can’t amend or cancel by 11:45? They surely won’t send this order?!

Maybe it can't handle it and will send you all the ingredients for a Greek salad.

@queenmeadhbh very good question. I imagine they are having some sort of crisis meeting to work out how to refund everyone.

Also stuck in the waiting room and hoping my amended order has actually gone through.

They do sometimes call if you have a few bizarre items in the basket.
