How much does everyone spend on fuel?!

I know it obviously depends on a lot of factors but I'm just trying to see if we're spending more than average.

We have a petrol car and live quite rurally. We can't get anywhere without the car. We also tend to short local journeys often.

I think we're spending around £200 a month in petrol.

I spend about £45 every 2-3 weeks. Don't do a lot of miles on working days often drive 1 mile to nursery and bk twice a day. My parents are 24mile round trip usually visit once a week and in-laws 10mile round trip once a week. Few miles here and there to park or shops etc.

My husband really just goes a few miles back and forth to work 5 days a week he spend maybe about £40 a month.

So I'd say we average about £130 a month family of 2 adults 2 kids and not a lot of miles tbh.

Approx £300 per month

Live rurally, and do school run

I think we spend about £500 on the two main vehicles.

You need to take into account distance and vehicle, I drive a large 4x4 so doing very little costs a lot (but I need the vehicle to be able to tow).
