Zombie Apocalypse- where do you head?

Imagine its a zombie apocalypse a la The Walking Dead.
Where would you go? Hole up at home, travel somewhere busy where there might be more supplies, go somewhere rural, steal a boat?

What skills do you have to survive/hide/fight back?

I looked at this thread about 3 hours ago and been having a good think about it since. In my head I'd raid B&Q, petrol stations, chemists, the hunting shop near me and head out to the mountains with a crew and build a fort.
In reality I'd probably just Phoebe run through the streets screaming for somebody to help me. I'd last a good 5 minutes or so though, I'm pretty nimble.

Lock all the doors and wait for them to move on. Would be living on tinned food throughout.

How do you actually kill a Zombie ?

We may have to on the roof - can they climb ?

Kill my family and myself before the zombies get to us. I've got family who can hardly walk, they'd be sitting ducks, and I couldn't leave them.

Costco or macro, depending on where I lived at the time. It has everything you need, clothes, food, toys, booze!

I imagine I’d probably get turned on route to the store. Depends on if they could run and use weapons or if they were slow and stupid?

Is it bad that In that situation I’d rather make sure I got my cats to safety with me rather than family?
