In the earlier seasons, the comedy is situational and quite funny. After that, Raymond is just horrible and Debra should have left him.

Yes! I totally agree. The comedy became " isn't this man horrible to his wife- how funny!'

I watched one yesterday where he had taped over their wedding video with football and to make it up to her organised a vow renewal but didn't write any vows. And poor Deborah was just accepting these scraps of affection like she wasn't worth anything else. Awful.
