Literally carried my husband

We have a 5 year old and both in our early 40s. Last night we were tidying up the kitchen and DH was sitting on side putting things in cupboard. As I walked past him he put his arms around my shoulders then wrapped his legs around my waist. I managed to give him a piggyback ride for a few seconds before dropping him in hysterics. Actually proud I did that. Why did he do that? GrinCan anyone else lift up their hubby?

No... my DH is 6'4" & 20st, looks like an ex rugby player. I'm not even 5'3". I'd probably die! My 9y/o DD can pick me up though. She takes after him!

I weigh more than my husband but he's taller. I'm 11 stone and he's about 9 and a half 30 inch waist. Every so often I pick him up and make him squel :-)

I do CrossFit/weightlifting 6 days a week. I weigh 62kg and I can deadlift 150kg and back squat 95kg for 3 reps. DP weighs about 86kg so I can definitely lift him. Would be awkward to piggyback him though as I'm 5'7 and he's 6'2 😄

I can lift my 105kg, 6'6" DH and walk a few paces, but that's it - I'd certainly not attempt to carry him up a hill or similar!

I dragged mine from the hall, up the stairs and into the bedroom once...

Not as fun as it sounds, he was passed out drunk and I couldn’t shut the front door through him 🤦🏻‍♀️ Once I started I just kept going. Knackered my back and I left him on the floor with a bucket!

The only time he tried picking me up (piggy back) we fell backwards into a patch of nettles 😳😂

These days I can barely lift the dog 😂

Yes, but we’re both men and hes a skinny minny. He wouldn’t have a chance lifting me 😂

I watch a lot of korean dramas and in those people regularly piggyback each other when someone is drunk on work nights out, or if ma person collapses and need urgently taking to a doctor. I can't remember when I last saw an adult getting a piggyback in real life.
