Have you ever recognised someone on here?

I've spotted a colleague, and oh my gosh it's compulsive entertainment. She has given enough away to make her hugely identifiable and yet paints a very very rosy version of her life. I used to quite like her (other colleagues warned me she wasn't pleasant), but the embellishments on here and the snotty, comments she leaves on people's posts have made me change my opinion. It's taking all my might not to comment with or on all her posts.

Have you ever realised who someone is, and did you say anything to them? Or did you, like me, just get the popcorn in?

Yes, just yesterday in fact! Several very identifying details on a thread about something I know she has an interest in. I suspect she didn’t mean to make herself quite so identifiable!

Yes. Turned out to be an old school peer - we mutually recognised each other, if you like, although I knew exactly who she was before she knew me - I told her via PM who I was.

She then stopped posting in the "group chat" threads we were both in and namechanged - although I'd had no real issue with her at school, some of my friends had, and she seemed mortified that I'd worked out who she was, which was a shame, as she'd grown up and changed, of course!

No - and tbh I’m glad for it.

Yes, she tried changing some things to make the story not so recognisable but I clicked straight away it was her, quite unmistakable.
I didn't make it known to her that I knew who she was as she had said in her thread, if anyone recognised her she would have it pulled.
