When does the summer holidays start for you?

Wondering when different parts of the country starts their summer holidays officially. Not that it’s going to make any difference for looking for availability for a last minute holiday!

It was 28th May for secondary here, and primaries are all finishing tomorrow week (30th), although I think a few are finishing on Mon or Tues.

For our school, both primary and secondary reopen on 30th August - there are some variances among schools now where all used to be 1st Sept, so could be anything from about 25th August to 3rd September.

23rd July, London and they now go back earlier because we have switched onto a two week October half term.

The indie next door breaks up on 13th July.

I was always jealous of my NI cousins who would be visiting us two weeks before we broke up!

21st July is first day here, Hertfordshire.

25th June until 30th August for us(primary but in Republic of Ireland.) Can’t wait!

16th July here. Central England.

We break up on Friday

23rd July in Leeds.

End of December goes back beginning of February. Our winter break starts soon though.
