Comfy non old lady sandal recommendations

Since making the summer transition to sandals and doing extra hours at work (standing up most of the day) my feet are killing me at the end of the day. Can anyone recommend some modern sandals with good support? I have 2 pairs that I seem to wear on rotation which I really love, but they were from H&M and are really flat and offer no support. I've tried googling it but I just seem to get pavers or fitflops and the designs seem a bit dated for me. Also, I don't want to be spending a huge amount on them either. Am I asking for the moon on a stick or are there some good, on trend sandals that won't kill my feet at the end of the day or cost me a small fortune?

Sketchers or timerbland for me. You can get some super lightweight comfy ones. I could walk miles in my timberland sandals with no issues.

I bought these this year, I usually wear really high heels but wanted something a little flatter. They are really comfy, don't hurt the ball of your feet and as they come up round the side, your feet do actually feel supported. I've worn them all day for work, shopping, not had any problem with them.

I sometimes buy other sandals but never really wear them because I'm a Birkenstock addict. I don't think I've ever had a single rub/ sore/ hurt from a Birk. Admittedly I can't wear the slider style anymore but the toe post with the big strap seems infallible for anything other than running!

Also they are really tough and easy to wash/ dry if you think they are getting a bit sticky.

I bought some birkies - the Arizona big buckle in brown leather. Very nice. They look lovely with summer dresses but supportive and decent sole.

I also have a pair of black patent Madrid’s which are my absolute go to standard pair. They don’t last forever for me - the beach does seem to eventually kill them. But they last really well and I am happy to buy like for like when they die

If you have real foot problems, try Strive. strivefootwear.com/.
They are not cheap, but they work ok. Well-made too.

@JuneFromBethesda

I’ve just bought my second pair of these:

My first pair are still going strong despite being worn solidly for three or four summers. They are incredibly comfortable, I could walk for hours without any problems.

I’ve had these for about 7 summers. I may need to replace them but they are so comfy even when I was standing teaching all day in a classroom hotter then the sun.

Sweet lord they are HORRIBLE 🤣

I live in these

I got a pair of these last week, the oiled leather ones, and love them already! Smile

@currentlynotavailable

I have recently bought my first pair of saltwater sandals and they're the comfiest sandals I've owned. I've barely worn anything else since!
I was going to say exactly this. They are such a pretty colour too!

I buy a pair of these every summer and wear them to death. They are cheap as chips and I don’t really care what they look like. They are comfortable from first wear, no wearing in needed. They change the look of them slightly every year, some more frumpy than others, but the basic shape and fit is the same.

I have terrible feet; fat, flat and dodgy toes. Even trainers hurt after a couple of hours. I don’t get that with these, at all. www.shoezone.com/Products/Softlites-Womens-Black-Strappy-Comfort-Sandal-19774

Am I the only one finding every single pair so far, utterly hideous??

These are so comfy!

No idea why the links to Office don't show the actual shoe, I've attached a picture of the ones I bought this year.
