Nearly 50 and a bit concerned.. I asked someone what her 50th felt like. She said it was like reaching mid way of a 2 week holiday and realising it's nearly over.. Not sure how I feel about that. And after tomorrow I will have a dc who is 32!!

Don't say that! I'm 50 this year - we're in our prime!

SAHP, in a position where I can't afford to work.
Live with my boyfriend, 13yo and 9yo in London. Also have 2 adult children who don't live at home.

I'm nearly 42 ( in about three weeks so should probably just say 42 but the nearly always comes out) engaged to DP with two DS. One with ASD and one who is like the Tanzanian devil cartoon on something illegal.

I've worked in Social Care for 23 years in a range of , well I think so ,interesting roles from Prisons , Rehabs Care services. I now train , teach and write on the same subjects but ignore my writing here as I'm inherently lazy on social media. As well as keeping my hand in to active work.

I have an Exdh that I am fortunate that we get on really well. My family is batshit crazy but I essentially just ignore the crazy these days. I'm quite loving my forties really. Until DP gets ID'd and I don't and he giggles .

I’d presume nobody is going to give any more specific information here than they would in the course of their everyday posting activity, and people who want to remain totally anonymous won’t post at all? If you’ve posted anything previously with any level of detail about your life giving or asking for advice, it’s all there in AS. I’m not sure what nefarious activity somebody can do with the pretty vague life details which could apply to tens of thousands of other people posted on this thread so far.

Does anyone have any recollection of the names of their first pets, or maybe mothers with interesting maiden names?

I'm a 25-year-old mother of two (4 and 17 months) and currently 24 weeks pregnant with my third. I'm a SAHM for the time being while my children are still little.

I'm absolutely exhausted but I'm so very happy.

The name actually stands for batshit crazy (though I do have a B.Sc. also)
