Fire Pits! Why?!

So it's still 22 degrees outside here. My baby and childs bedrooms are 28 degrees. Our upstairs is absolutely boiling.

Can I open the windows? No, because our arsehole selfish neighbour has lit a fire. Just a bin with wood in burning merrily outside. It fucking stinks. I had the upstairs windows open for ten minutes half an hour ago and it's stunk the house out even downstairs.

It's warm out. Why, why why do people need fire?! There is no need.

Rant over. Selfish pigs.

I do like the smell of woodsmoke

I very much dont like the smell of my neighbours fags which drift across the garden.

One of our neighbours has a. Fire EVERY NIGHT / DAY.
Its reported all the time and nothing gets done. They burn all toxic stuff. Plastic, rubber, mattresses.
Sometimes 9am when washing out. Midday. Sometimes even 2am they light one.
We. Absolutely cannot have our windows open at night.

Love a fire pit! Even in the summer months. Neighbours also have them. We really don’t have a problem with it.

They’re great to sit around, kids can toast marshmallows…

We only use moon dried wood which isn’t Smokey - as do our neighbours. Maybe suggest the same to yours?

Where do you get MOON dried wood?!?! Are you for real?

Burning carpets, you can report. Only grey smoke allowed from garden stuff, definitely not black eh should come out.
Also even garden stuff should not be burnt.

Op they probably don't realise... maybe kindly point it out

We use one on campsites that allow fires. It's great when it chills off in the evening. I wouldn't light it at home though as we only have a small back yard and a terraced house.

Why are people lighting them now after all the fires raging and the warning of how dry everything is?
