I discovered Bailey Sarian, Murder Mystery and Makeup, she's brilliant.

Kendall Rae is good.

I'm yet to find an English one that's as good as them.

Can anyone part their own wisdom of who they like?

She's American but I like Stephanie Harlowe, though she spends too long talking about the sponsors. Eleanor Neale is also quite good.

Thanks. I tried Stephanie Harlow but she isn't very animated but she seems really popular. I will try the other person you suggested, thanks!

I watch Bailey Sarian every Monday. I've just discovered Kendall Rae, not as engaging as Bailey but still good.

Following for more suggestions as I love this stuff!

That Chapter
Jim Can't Swim
True Crime Daily

Find Stephanie Harlowe very monotone in her delivery and a bit judgemental but her level of research is seriously impressive.

Don't like any of the channels that combine true crime with beauty. I find it quite distasteful tbh.

True Crime Daily I watched for a while, but if it's the one I think it is, I couldn't deal with the woman's theatrical OTT voice.

I haven't heard of the others your suggested so I will have a look, thanks for the list!

Oh I think That Chapter might be good!!

Eleanor Neale does some interesting cases

StopSayingDueDiligence · 09/06/2021 20:45

Jim Can't Swim appears to taking it from a different angle.
I'm intrigued about those!

Do you like podcasts? RedHanded is good and the presenters are British.

LazyMareofEastown · 09/06/2021 20:47

That Chapter is great. Some people find his tone a bit borderline casual/cheeky for the heavy subject matter but I think he's very good at keeping things factual whilst also maintaining your interest as a viewer. Plus he's Irish so I'll always support a fellow countryman 😊.

Ana Garcia is the True Crime Daily lady. She definitely has serious "journalist voice" but she's very astute and insightful and is fiercely pro-women - she doesn't even try to hide her vitriol towards the raping and murdering men who feature in the stories they cover.

LazyMareofEastown · 09/06/2021 20:48

Jim Can't Swim specialises in interrogation video commentary/interpretation. I find it fascinating and the amount of work he puts into his videos is astonishing. His voice is a bit weird but I've adapted to that now!

MWNA · 09/06/2021 21:04

Can't stand the guy who voiceovers That Chapter. The thing itself is great with interesting stories but he spoils it for me.

LilacSorbet · 09/06/2021 21:07

I've been watching a lot of Eleanor Neale videos recently - most are longer form but there are a fair few shorter ones, particularly older cases.

StopSayingDueDiligence · 09/06/2021 21:11

Eleanor Neale is one of the UK people
I tried and couldn't get on with.

Criminally Listed- interesting cases, good atmospheric music
Disturban is good but caution; he covers some difficult and distressing cases
Tried Top 5s but not keen on Ty Notts' delivery
I prefer not to see the presenter on screen 🙂

MWNA · 09/06/2021 21:29

Monsters is good. If you can stand the guy saying "Quote ..." and "End quote" all the flipping time.

JaneyGotAGun · 09/06/2021 22:17

Love Mike from That Chapter!
I've binge watched them all or listen on my headphones when I'm cleaning or gardening.
I have to wait to each new one now ☹

ivymummy · 09/06/2021 22:40

Georgia Marie and Emma Kenny's new channel are some of my faves at the mo! I am a true crime addict 🧐

Warrickdaviesasplates · 09/06/2021 22:43

I quite enjoy Brittany Vaughn she does makeup as she talks about the cases in the same way Bailey Saroyan does. I quite like this as it seems to keep the tone more casual/ conversational and engaging rather than some others I've watched which feels more like a news report or someone talking at you.

Warrickdaviesasplates · 09/06/2021 22:44

bailey Sarian Jeez autocorrect screwed me right up on that one!

JudyGemstone · 09/06/2021 22:47

I like Emma Kenny and JCS. Also some of Dr Todd Grande if you want something quick.

Used to watch Stephanie Harlow, but went off her.

StevieNix · 09/06/2021 22:53

True Crime Recaps. Their longest videos tend to be just over 30 minutes, instead of 2 hours (which I can’t be bothered to watch!). Most of them are around 15 to 20 minutes. Great for short bursts of information and the married couple that do them are both really likeable.
