What age did you stop using a stroller with your child?

Mine is 2.5 years and I use a stroller quite often, I want to get a different one that's more compact for my car but wondering if it's worth it. Although I can't imagine stop using one anytime soon as my boy is quite lazy! But most say he's near the top weight bracket already!

100% linked to car use (and possibly napping, mine both napped until 4). DC2 is 4.5 and we were using it very regularly until we moved 3 months ago and had to get a car. We've used it once since. DC is a really good walker as well and scoots and cycles, but if you're out all day and have lunches etc to carry as well it's a pain to carry it all yourself. We walked absolutely loads. If you don't go out much maybe you don't need one either.

I'd recommend a babyjogger city mini- the weight limit is quite high and it still folds down very quickly and easily and is light. Big basket too.

Someone will always come on these threads to say their child walked everywhere from 18 months but fail to mention they were strapped in the car seat.

100% linked to car use (and possibly napping, mine both napped until 4). Agree about the napping, mine had stopped by two so didn't need the stroller then. Disagree about the car use, we walked everywhere and went on day trips by public transport, I had a hip sling as backup instead as I found it much easier.
