I'm having a glass of cold wine.Its ridiculously hot and ive got no evening meal to prepare today.

Currently having a break from work, god it's boring. Inside in the AC, it's ridiculous outside.

Lying on the bed in my cool bedroom watching Poirot

Having a beer on my swing seat in the garden after a sweaty afternoon pulling up the rest of my living room carpet and putting it in the car

Pumping for my 5 weeks old and stuffing my face with crisps. Lol

Drinking a pint of Devon cider in a bar on the south coast of Devon. Doors are all open, sun is blazing and the sea looks GLORIOUS.
(I'm on holiday. Unfortunately this isn't my usual Tuesday evening routine).

Been on the go since 5.30am, when toddler Ds decided it was time to start the day. Finally, bedtime is done, I've logged off my work laptop, food is cooking and I can collapse in a heap. DP is on nights so I have the TV all to myself. Quite excited by that!

Just finished lentil curry and rice. I put some chopped dates in it and I’m contemplating how good that was.
Taking a break before dealing with the kitchen and I have a bed to make. Grr.

Suffering hot flushes, while DS moans about maths exams tommorow...

Sitting in a toddler bed with my 2 year old who flutter eyed me asking if I would sit with her so now catching up on mn!

well, that was a mistake.
I now feel dizzy with a stonking headache.
no way I'm standing for 20 mins stirring porridge.

About to do yet more document finding and scanning for my partner's visa application. Then will move some money around different accounts. Probably with an ice lolly. If it's not really late, watch yesterday's inside no nine, then bed! Taking toddler Ds on a playdate tomorrow so hoping I get a lie in first!

I'm lying in bed wishing I hadn't said I would go into th office tomorrow need to pack my laptop and all my stuff, have a shower and a tidy round AND think of an an actual outfit and SHOES to wear tomorrow. Meh.

Sitting at the top of the stairs making a fuss of the cat and listening to DD moan that she can't sleep because it's too hot. DH has just hoovered and is boiling the kettle. Can't decide between going downstairs to watch Holby, or laying in bed to watch house of cards.

Listening to my dog barking at nothing - she's been ill so it's nice to hear her feeling herself again. Wondering about going upstairs and putting my Oestrogel on and watching some telly.

DS revising for French oral tomorrow and DH gone for a swim. All the doors are open and it's nice and summery and silent in the house. Apart from the dog!

DS1 has just made me laugh.
he's just got back from the gym, first time in forever.
he started complaining about all body parts that hurt, how his legs ache then said: "urgh, I feel like a newborn"
me: "huh? whatever do you mean?"
him: "because my legs won't hold me up"

Just finished watering the garden - we put some new plants in at the weekend and are feeling very grown up. Now about to watch something on tv. Contemplating whether to ignore the footsteps upstairs or go up and try to get the DC back to bed. DS2 is in a challenging phase!

On day 2 of my diet so trying to resist the call of the cupboard/fridge and am having another glass of water. DH has just brought a can of coke and Pringles in for him to eat. Must. Resist. Pringles.

Just taking a break from making birthday cards for my two granddaughters in England. Waiting for watercolours to dry and having a sandwich for lunch.

Had a relaxing morning painting irises for one card and poppies for the other.
