I'm having a glass of cold wine.Its ridiculously hot and ive got no evening meal to prepare today.

Glass of wine watching tennis

Sitting on the beach at West Wittering with a cold gin in a tin.

Sitting with DH planning the packing and logistics of moving house in a couple of weeks.

We have calorie controlled meals in the oven (cheers Tesco!) but I'm debating if I have enough calories to finish the wine in the fridge. I feel like it would be wrong to throw it away.

I'm about to go for a walk with a friend in the local woods. We go about once a month and have a good catch up. There's also a bottle of wine to share

You definitely shouldn’t throw wine away!

At least have seafood pasta tomorrow to use it up.

I'm in bed. I've just had my wisdom tooth out and still feel a bit away with the fairies after sedation.

Finished the wine was just a mini bottle so one glasses worth.Might have a v&t later.

Watching the news, flicking through MN and considering what to make for tea. Jealous of your wine OP

Feeding DS to sleep whilst DP heats up the camembert to go with the Tesco sour dough. A real treat for us

I think we’ll have a couple of gin & tonics later. We’re properly middle aged now - we get into bed at around 8 pm most evenings, snuggle up, watch something and just chill. 👍👍

@cashew if you have walnuts and some cranberry sauce left over from Christmas those will go beautifully with your baked Camembert...

I want baked Camembert. DH baked a sourdough loaf just yesterday!

Sitting on the loo after restarting metformin this morning. It does not agree with my stomach 😭😭😭

Just finished lunch, picking at some grapes ans killing half an hour before picking up Ds1 from Tennis camp

Just showered the kids and getting them ready for bed..
Then will cook fish chips and peas for me and dh.
Have a shower and read my book for a bit and then probs find a film to watch with dh 🙂.. I will end up falling asleep on the sofa!

Just finished dinner (teriyaki beef) and now sat watching some YouTube with DH and DC.

About to pop the kettle on and have a square of 90% Lindt with a coffee.

Sat on a curb waiting for my sons dance class to finsh, parents still aren’t allowed in the building and if I walk home I’ll only just arrive when its time to turn around again.

Rewatching DS9 with some Buck's Fizz and drying my hair naturally. Lamb was cooked in slow cooker and DH will do roast potatoes and veg when he returns from the village pub (outside)

We have walnuts! No cranberry sauce but could swipe a couple of DS's blackberries :D

Nothing beats home made. But the Tesco sourdough is very good. Only 3 ingredients

About to continue reading my book (The Hunting Party) whilst DP makes fajitas then got zoom book club later.

Watching Joe Wilkinson have a meltdown on an old episode of Taskmaster and convincing myself not to go and get another helping chicken casserole.

Booking a night away this weekend with dh in our campervan! First childfree night in 5 years! 🤣

Sitting in the garden contemplating the world with a cider. It's very peaceful. DH and I took the afternoon off and went out for a fancy lunch today without the DC, so I'm just topping up the wine from that really.

@Casheeeew a little drizzle of honey would work too!

I’m very grumpy now at lack of Camembert.

I'm so so tired and hot weather's not been helping.
we usually have dinner at 7 -7.30 so technically not too late (they will be up till 9).
someone please shove food in their mouths!
