Does anyone else play the Wikipedia game just by themselves?

I know it’s a bit tragic but quite often if I want to look something up on Wikipedia I won’t just search for it, I’ll go to the Wikipedia home page and try to find my way to it from there.

Just now for example, watching Teletubbies with DS I was curious about where it was filmed. Found my way to Teletubbies from the home page in impressively few steps!

I know there is an actual Wikipedia game for this but I never find that at much fun.

How about a game where somewhere choses a random start and finish point and other people try it?

I love this! I’m a serial wiki hopper so I’m going to try this game.

I’m completely stuck! I got to cocktails easily enough via WWI to Woodrow Wilson to prohibition to alcohol to cocktails. But I can’t get to umbrella at all, not even from the page of mixed drinks

I do this all the time but with a version of 6 degrees of separation (or the Kevin bacon game)

I've always got a wiki page open on some film or tv programs or actor. So if I want to look someone up (usually film or tv), I have to link them from my starting page.

I'm a bit of a film nut so find it very satisfying if I do it in 6
